Over the course of the week; on 8th, 10th, and today, Sunday, 12th July 2026, the Justice, Development and Peace Caritas Initiative (JDPC Abuja), in collaboration with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), successfully conducted the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) Exercise across strategic locations within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The exercise received an overwhelming response from Nigerian citizens, who turned out in large numbers to register as new voters, transfer their voting locations, and replace lost, damaged, or defaced Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). The impressive turnout reflects the growing commitment of citizens to actively participate in Nigeria’s democratic process.
At JDPC Abuja, we are delighted to contribute to the promotion of good governance, democratic accountability, and active citizenship. We believe that encouraging eligible citizens to exercise their civic responsibility is not only a democratic duty but also a moral imperative that strengthens our nation.

We sincerely appreciate the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for this valuable partnership and commend every citizen who took the time to participate in the exercise.
Remember: Your Vote is Your Voice. Your Voice Matters. Be Counted!
